Hello, Question for an Acura EL 2004 (CAN)
I have green key flashing on dashboard but the key is not even in the ignition.
As expected, if I insert the key and try to start it, it won't start. The only way the green light goes away, is when I remove fuse 9. That breaks some other things like the radio and some interior lights, but it lets me start the car. (Then I can put the fuse back and all works well)
Would appreciate any ideas.

I take it the other key doesn't work either?
Strange as the immobilizer green key flashing only should happen after removing the key and it should flash a few times then go out.

Hi NDNV,
Green key flashing never stops, with or without a key.
I have 2 keys but none work.
Only when I remove fuse #9 to disable the security system (which in itself shouldn't happen) I can start the car.

Check your battery and the battery connections as a weak battery has been known to cause your symptoms.
