Hi,
I have 2007 Acura MDX. I got a check engine light on with P1717 error code (transmission issue). My acura dealer checked it and told that it caused because of bad battery and he replaced the battery. I am happy about not having a big trany repair and it is just a battery issue. But I am concerned about, whether they did the proper analysis and I should not be breaking my transmission. Can anyone know, bad battery will cause P1717 error message?
