I have been living with a issue for most of the year with my Acura RL. It has 92K miles and except for this issue running. When cruising at a lower speed, I hear a shudder sound when I try an accelerate. It feels like its in in 5th gear and wants to be in 4th gear and has no power. When I accelerate or at higher RPMs I do not feel/hear it. Its most noticeable when the air conditioning is on and low RPM cruising. I replaced the air filter which needed it, but problem persists. When I search other forums I found references to Torque Converter Shudder which had the same symptoms I experience. Also, when car is in this state, I put the transmission into manual and keep it 4 which removes the shudder feeling.
