you know......I am REALLY dissapointed with Acura's services and what they offer you. compared to any other luxury line cars. I'm not going to compared with BMW or Mercedes cause they are German cars..but mainly with LEXUS, a another luxury line of the japanese automaker, toyota. but with 10x better services. I mean....shit! I pay 36K for a luxury car..don't get me wrong..the car is nice. I just don't like the services...and Honda doesn't offer much.

My friend just got a IS300 yesterday, and i can't believe all the things they offered. Free car washes anytime she pleases, free oil changes, free to tow her car to dealership for 15K service, and give you loaners. They even offered to go to her house and put on her license plates when she gets it! WTF?! I thought she was bullshitting me!!!!!!! And Lexus always have a nice loaner ON HAND and ready there. well..maybe not ALWAYS...but you know what I mean. and what the heck do we get from Acura? the "LUXURY" division of Honda? I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything if you do not agree with me. But seriously...we get jack shit for buying a 36K car. I'm ready to give Honda a piece of my mind. :thumbdow:

I mean..I know most dealers down here barely have any loaners on hand for you. How are they supposed to compete with their competitors? i'm sure most don't mind...but I do.

have you ever considered it to be a dealership problem and not a honda problem? the dealership here sucks, i won't go there, but the dealership where i bought the car washed it everytime i brought it in for service and i got free oil changes. i recieved a loaner when i shouldn't have, and those people bend over backwards for me and i'm a girl! they usually treat girls like shit.

i know not all acura dealerships offer the complimentary carwash, i saw that on the service survey i filled out.

i would also like to note that i feel acura is not in the same class as lexus even though they are both japanese company owned. lexus automobiles are more expensive than acura, both new and used.

Uh, my dealer offers all of that (don't know about the plate thing though... they gave me my permanent plates as soon as I bought the car in full)... it's definitely a dealer issue.

Not like any of that is a big deal... I'd rather wash the car myself or pay a good car wash place to do it rather than take it to the dealer.

Sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with your local dealer. But I assure you, as Raia has said, its actually a dealer issue. My dealer gives me free oil changes, washes the car (I usually don't let them though, for I do all of her bathing ) and if needed, gets me an Acura Loaner, usually a TL. Haven't needed a loaner yet with my TLS, but that was always the case with my 95 Legend.

Their sales guys are really cool, had me test drive the TLS by myself, as well as the RL. Service guys are great and the techs know me by my name. Kudos to Fountain Acura in Orlando FL, woo hoo!!! :thumbsup: If u r dissatisfied, go somewhere else bro. !!

$36k for a TL-S? I would have gone with the Bimmer for that amount!

I have two Acura dealers close to me and both are excellent. They always provide a nice loaner and keep me very informed of my car's status while it's in their shop. And, if you wanted all the extra service or add-ons, like free oil changes and towing, you should have had them throw those in for free when you made the purchase. Most of the dealers around here will do that, but you have to ask. I got free window tinting, splash guards and wheel locks on mine at no extra charge.

I am very satisfied with our local dealers. Also, I don't really consider Acura and Lexus to be in the same class of luxury car. A true luxury car is more luxurious than a CL, TL, or RL and way moreso than an RSX.

Here in Canada, we get free roadside assistance for the iorst 3 years and the first 2 regular maintenances on your new Acura are free. Most dealers will ofer the 3rd for free if you complete the dealer survey Honda sends to you. My dealership has free loaners cars (but you need to book them in advance), and a free wash everytime you bring your car in for any type of servicing, whether it's regular maintenance or not.

I bought my CL used at Fairfax Honda but I got all my servicing done at Pohanka and they were fantastic; they did all the stuff that Elegant mentioned, plus they were really nice to me.

I mean, one time I got a TL as a loaner (and I drove a first gen CL).

My dealer in SD offers most of those. (Everything except the free oil changes.) Other than that, I get loaners, car washes, FREE Starbucks coffee, plus the occasional Salad Tossing. :tongue:
