Does AEM have a big brake kit for our cars? As far as i know they are in the works and the only available kit is the brembo's. Wilwood is in the finishing touches for the big brake kit as well. Truthfully my experience with the big brake kits on my type r is it's good for track and show otherwise save yourself some money and get ss brakelines, good brake pads(endless, etc.), and some slotted or x drilled rotors. Another thing with the kit is you have to have rims larger than stock as the calipers will rub.

all i want is the larger diameter rotor with the relocation kit...that's it! otherwise, the bigger calipers will just make finding an aftermarket wheel very hard, and whose to say the stockers will still fit (astroboy has the brembos and had some problems with his volk se37a wheels, bobowah had superleggera wheels on his cl and the brembos and they seem to fit fine). i don't deny the benefits, but not knowing how and when to use them could make matters worse.

well i mean for 2k i hope you can get alot out of it
Yeah I you get alot of them, I am obviously there is a reason why Ferrari, Porsche, and benz is going with brembo to produce their brakes. Actually Porsche develops there own brake kits. Like I said for our cars I don't think they are worth it. I had them on my type R from wilwood and you felt a difference, but more for track or show. I also had to always have on at least 18's which wasn't real good in the winter.

hey dude, whats the bulb type that you are using for your rear turn signals?? I was looking everywhere for clear ones for my car but the 02 TLs have this lame idodic non standard size and i wasnt able to find them anywhere.. do you know where i could get them? I think they are different between 01 and 02, mine uses the PY21W and its the Y part that throws it all off!!! :bash: Help a brother out!!

yeah, what i used was the Polarg M-7's and what you need to do is brake the one of the nipples, and then it will fit and it should be the same as your 02' since when i bought the tail lights i had to change the harness.

I want to get better braking performance. I nearly got rear-ended on the fwy today and realize the importance of good brakes. Sure our brakes are already better than most other cars on the road today, but they could stand to be made even better.

So for a mild braking increase. What's the best brand of brake pad? Raybestos Perfomance line? Axis? Porterfield?
