guys i need help on the aem intake for the tl-s. there is a screw that you screw the pipe to the car (mid-way on the pipe, and it uses the stock holes where the old airbox was screwed to). i don't have that screw (the intake is used, the screw is missing), so can someone tell me what that screw exactly looks like, and possibly some specs on it? i want to go to auto stores to get a replacement

or if you have pics it would be great

this screw is long with rubber bushings.. it's 2 round pads.. I actually need a new one as well, since my old one has worn off.
I'll probably go to autozone and see if they have any.

yo thanks for the info. can you let me know if you can find it at autozone? i haven't even seen this thing so i am afraid i will get the wrong stuff.

so you are saying it's a long screw (probably with a bolt on the other side to tighten it up?), and in the middle there are two rubber bushing? i suppose the two rubber bushing will be used to "snap" the intake to the body of the car, and allow some movement of the intake but not too much (so when you are at high rpm it's allowed to vibrate)?

Got your PM...actually I have that screw. My old intake where the lower half was crushed still had it on...so I have it and the pieces with it. I was hoping when I got back home to sell the upper part as a short ram...

I can tell you it's not just a screw. You have a screw, with a rubber washer about 1" thick and two metal washers on either end. As for the size of the screw you PMed me asking about the size of it...I unfortunately am not home and won't be for 3 wks...and my car is home...so I can't help you bro I'm sorry.
