I don't but it seems like it would be very tedious on a phone's keypad. It takes long enough to enter a speed dial, I can't imagine trying to convey anything more complicated than "hi" or "running late". What do you use it for? Maybe once they perfect voice recognition.

yeah I use it during class and shit....or while I'm at the movies or something ;)

It's nice to be discrete sometimes

Most modern text capable phones have templates with pre-written messages, as well as having text recognition. Previously if you had to type the letter s, for example, you'd have to hit the 7 key 4 times. Now, you just press each key for each letter once, and it runs the combination through a built-in dictionary. It's really quite easy to do it relatively fast. :)
