I have a problem with my Bose Stereo on my 2002 Acura TL that began last winter (second gen.). During the cold weather, the radio went dead and would not come on at all. But when it warmed up a little, it might come back on intermittently but all the settings would be lost and I would have to put in the security code to get it to work.

Now that the weather is warm, it works fairly consistently except if I don't drive the car for a few days, I lose all station the presets and I have to enter the security code back again.

The battery is only a year old and the car cranks up the way it should, so I don't think it's the battery.

I think it has to be the radio that is bad. Maybe a capacitor inside the radio might be bad? Has anybody dealt with this before?
