Hi everyone!

I recently purchased a 2017 Acura RDX with the technology package. I live in Colorado. My friend wanted to go camping this weekend and he owns a 2019 Jeep Trailhawk Cherokee. He said where we are going is medium-rough terrain. Normally has to put his Jeep in low gear to maneuver around on the trail. Has anyone recently seen the Acura RDX make it through some "hairy" trails. Pictures would be great! What is everyone's overall thoughts with the RDX being off-road?

I would not do it myself. Not that you couldn't, but the Jeep has higher ground clearance. The RDX has to many plastic panels underneath that could break or crack.

It handled really well! We went through a river that was at least 10 inches deep, went over a fallen tree (about 6 inches in diameter) following a very bumpy road. The RDX can hang but no Moab rock climbing for me 😉
