The 2023 Acura RDX comes equipped with a car wash mode to help protect the vehicle's electronics and other sensitive components during a car wash. Here's how to activate it:
  1. Make sure the car is in park: Before you begin, make sure the car is in park with the engine running.
  2. Turn off the wipers: Turn off the windshield wipers and make sure they are in their resting position.
  3. Turn off auto start-stop: If your car is equipped with auto start-stop, turn it off.
  4. Press and hold the car wash button: Press and hold the car wash button located on the center console until you see a message on the infotainment screen that says "Car Wash Mode Activated."
  5. Follow the car wash instructions: Proceed to the car wash and follow the instructions provided by the car wash attendant. Avoid using high-pressure water on the sensors, cameras, and other sensitive areas of the car.
  6. Exit car wash mode: After the car wash is complete, turn off the car wash mode by pressing the car wash button again until the message on the infotainment screen says "Car Wash Mode Deactivated."
By following these steps, you can activate the car wash mode on your 2023 Acura RDX to help protect your car's sensitive components during a car wash.
