Cell - Stereo Problem

I was reading past posts of people who have a weird buzzing sound when they have a cell phone in the car. They said if you have a cell that NOT GSM or TDMA, you will be fine.
I have a LG TM-510, and use Verizon and it's a CDMA, but I'm still getting that problem. But oddly, it only happens when I'm playing CD's, not tape or the radio.
I also tried turning off my cell while playing a CD, and the buzzing sound is still there. You think it's a different problem?
i'm not using burned CD's either.

thanks

I use the LG-TM510 w/Verizon. I lay it between the seat heater switches and have never heard buzzing what-so-ever. CDs or Radio, burned or not. No problems/interference.
hmmm...
if the CD is fairly scracthed, do you think that could cause a problem?
because I tried playing a clean CD, everything is G-double O-D GOOD.:bigok:
I get that all the time b/c I place my cell on near the shift, just normal interference. Try placing it somewhere else (cupholder?).

does help, i put my errison t28 / nokia 3390 (both gsm) in the cup holder and every time before they ring, it buzz (what a good indicator...)

kkambbak9399, i would bet it's the cd. i mean, i don't see any reason why it would still buzz when the phone is off :)
Why don't you just turn the volume off when you're using cell phone? ;)
If I put my Ericsson T68 under the stereo it does the same. So i
just keep it in my pocket (because absolutely no harm can
happen there).
ditto

I get what I believe is the same buzzing sound right before the phone rings, or I get a text message. I can't think of why it would be doing it all the time, unless your phone automatically checks email, or something connecting it to the network. I would recommend placing the phone in the handle on the door... I have found this to be a great place to keep it. FYI... I have a Nokia 6210.
