all to superwhite. i am always a fan of white light, so that's why i want 6000k hid low beam and fogs badly. and today i decided to change all the interior lights to superwhite as well. they don't emit as much light as the stock coz' of the blue tint on them but i definitely like the new lighting more :)

That's because you didnt increase the wattage of the bulbs. Our stock bulbs are type 194 (4watts) or type 168 (5watts)...but you can get bigger and brighter bulbs like type 921 (18watts) at any autocar parts store...or super whites (with a blue hue) like the Polarg M6 or the Piaa 19224. The only downside is the added heat. If you plan of keeping your door/maplights on for extended periods of time, then I dont suggest changing them to 921s.

Which brand of bulbs do you use? I'm using PIAA Plasma bulb for my interior, and they are actually brighter than the stocks.
My PIAAs light it up a LOT more, and they are just 5W.
If you want to do this, compare the PIAA and Polargs (just make sure they are the same wattage when you compare... apples to apples). Cheap to do, and looks much better.

hahaha...I looks more brighter..hence the term.. "superwhite" hahaha! But seriously...you lose more light output...as well as hurt your eyes if your looking at something. Put a superwhite into one map light..and keep the other one stock.and you'll see the diff. but hey..who cares...we love the color! I changed mines out beginning of my ownership. I kept my maplights stock cause sometimes it's useful. also..isn't the PIAA ones expensive?

hahhaa i was a bit depressed too. i guess a good way to put it is, under day light, it's not as good as stock coz' it's white. but during next time it's much much better :)

BlackShadow, here's the breakdown of the bulbs (i am pulling numbers from my polarg boxes)

for the ceiling light, it's M28, or P8723W. both the two front door lights and the two spot lights are they same, and they are M4 or P8713W. the shop was out of the backup light so I don't exactly know the model number.

funny i read the manual and it doesn't have any info on the numbers. so i went to the shop, and pry out ALL the bulbs at the spot and brought all of them in to match them. even the sales laughed a bit when he saw me with all the bulbs :)

Are the Piaa 19224 Dome lights 1 inch or 1.25 inches? I think the dome light socket requires bulbs 1.25 inches in lenght and 3/8 inch dia.

~$12 for two bulbs, PIAA Super Plasma HID or PIAA Xtreme White Bulb HID.

retiree, I think the dome light is also called a T6. If nothing else, do what rominl did and remove it, then take it into the shop to find the perfect match.
