i'm outta the factory warranty period...

but i'm curious if theres anything out there or do you guys have any clear instructions on replacing the rotors and brakepad? I think mine are going because the steering wheel is beginning to vibrate a little when i brake going downhill.

I think that you should be able to change the pads on your own, but machining the rotors is harder to do. You pretty much need to let a shop resurface your rotors since they have the equipment.

I hope to change to high performance brake pads sometime soon.

yeah pads are easy to change, it should be no problem. but to surface the rotors you have to bring it to a shop. and remember, try not to use the new pads too much with the warpped rotors, it's not good

btw, what pads are good for our cars? i will eventually upgrade it. i heard good stuff about potorfield (spell?)

Just bring your rotors to a shop or auto part store...most will machine rotors for around $5-$10 each or so. If they can't be turned, then they will be about $105 from the dealer. I don't think there is a good aftermarket replacement out yet.

Taking out isn't the problem. If you replace the pads, it's better to resurface the rotors but you can't do it yourself.

^^You can do them both together or seperate. But you MUST do both sides, i.e. driver and passenger, at the same time. So if you can only afford to do either the front or rear, go with the front because the majority of your braking is done by the front.

Endless is pretty good. Can supprot very high temperature. I used before on my Prelude and I love it alot when i went to track race.

I have hear that the new Mental Master AXXIS is not bad. But I'm not suce since I had bad experience with Mental Master brake pad.:dunno:

I know the endless for our car is about $130 pair. I think the price is worth with the quality:)

You can go to acura-tl.com they selling $132.95 pair or try to call Bozz Performance to compare the price (510) 657-4393. I think they might able to beat the price.
