Climate Control plus other things stopped working

Hello all, normally I'm pretty good with troubleshooting and fixing things... until now. This one has me stumped and hoping one of you can help me figure it out. 2004 TL with 244,863 miles on the clock-o-roonie. Has been a solid car since I bought it with 133,000 miles.

Recently had to replace the alternator, but then so many things all of a sudden just don't work anymore. No a/c, no heat, no defrosters, no fan, none of the buttons on the no-nav climate control do anything. The backlight on both top and bottom displays and all the button leds all work and radio works (so there's definitely power going into the CCM. Everything on the bottom radio display works, but top climate control display is blank. No heated seats and sunroof switch does nothing. And only the driver door window works. The other 3 are dead buttons too. Also, the outside temp gauge shows "- - -". ALL of these things were working perfectly before the alternator install.

I've checked all fuses and replaced relays. I replaced the whole climate control module and replaced the blower motor resistor. Fuse for sunroof is good, so why doesn't that work anymore all of a sudden?

None of these fixed the problem. What else could cause these symptoms at once?

edit: Also, would any of this have anything to do with the alternator replacement? Wrong alternator?

I have an '07 TL Base w/NAV, had to disconnect the battery one time and had some similar issues with systems not working afterwards. By fluke, I disconnected the battery again the following weekend to replace the airbag clock spring and viola, most things were working again. But I never did regain my dash clock/climate control message center which is different than yours because I have NAV. I am not sure what Honda was thinking, but they blended way too many circuits together. Just for the hell of it, maybe disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes or so and reconnect to see if anything comes back.

Thank you for the reply, but I did try that already when I went back over my alternator replacement. I literally took it all apart again just to see if I might have accidentally nicked the compressor wire or something like forgetting to plug something back in. Nope, everything looks good.

Just a curiously silly, ignorant question though... what all does the alternator power up? I did buy a remanned alt. The plug connector snaps into the alt and clicks, but is sticking out a 1/4" or so more than it used to with old alt. If I unplug that, is there still things that will work only because it's directly connected to battery?
I don't believe the alternator powers anything directly. Its output source should go directly to the battery. The battery will provide a clean and steady flow of energy to the systems in the car as long as it stays charged. Like a "UPS" (uninteruptible power supply) for a computer system. The plug into the alternator should be used for diagnostic and communications purposes for the ECU which feeds the battery/charging light and other error codes back to the dash as well as telling the car that additional systems need more energy triggering the alternator to charge or take load. I find it suspicious that you say the plug will not seat all the way in. I am wondering if the connector does not match your harness exactly. That is always a problem with remans, they fit a lot of vehicles with very subtle differences. I have experienced dead rebuild alternators and incorrect pin-outs on them before. I had a Geo Metro that the reman alternator lit up all the dash error lights. It was charging, but my dash cluster looked like a Christmas tree. The alternator physically looked the same, but it was wired for a different car. I ended up buying a new one because the auto parts store only stocked the reman and the other one they had did the same thing. This last summer I replaced my alternator on my '07 TL, I bought a new one from Amazon and it worked great and was less expensive than the local parts stores.

I bought this reman from RockAuto (probably the mistake right there)... it's the Remy brand reman. I'll now look into the alternator connector being the source of the problem. Thanks again.
UPDATE: Just replaced the alternator again with a different brand altogether. This did not fix the issues.

Recap -- No heat, no a/c, no defrosters, nothing works on the Climate Control Module. Replaced it but same problem. Seat heaters, sunroof, and 3 windows not working. Checked all fuses, all good. Replaced blower motor resistor, no difference. All these suggestions were based on similar symptoms with other TL owners, of which fixed their problem, but not mine. What on earth could be going on?

Please help. Wife is now having to use a 12v heated blanket just so she can go to work.

Check interior fuse #21 IG Meter. This was the cause of my power loss to the sunroof, windshield wipers, all windows, turn signals, partial instrument cluster.

Common signs include inconsistent cooling, out-of-date software, and uneven air distribution, since the module controls the whole AC system
DID THIS EVER GET FIXED? iM HAVING SIMILAR ISSUES WITH CLIMATE CONTROL. LIGHTS UP BUT NO READOUT AND CANT ADJUST ANYTHING. BLOWER WORKS
