Drained Battery - Dealer Removed Theft Module

After the battery on the 2016 MDX was drained, the dealer diagnosed the problem with a theft deterrent module, which they said was no longer supported. Now the car will only alert when the doors open, not when the glass breaks. They said it became a known issue, and the company which they get these modules from is not providing any updated versions.
