is there any performance gain with a drop in filter?

will it add any addtional noise to the cabin?

how much is it?

thanks for the info!:D
no noise added. Performance gain maybe. Try removing the resonator and when adding a new drop in filter, supposedly it almost adds the same effect of a CAI. Almost! And with removing the resonator there is a little roar, but it's good roar.

On the contrary, I have a K&N and note a deeper growl under hard acceleration than prior to having the filter. I notice a slight improvement in gas mileage and have documented this extensively at Acura-TL.com. There is a theoretical 2-3 HP gain, but I don't know anyone who's actually dynoed their car, can anyone share this info? In any case, 2-3 HP isn't enough to notice, and it's not why I bought the filter.

I've had the exact same experiences.

hmmm maybe it's different with the TL, but when I added k&N to the Yukon XL, I didn't notice much more noise added.

Well, next time I'm in the Springs I'll show you :) My parents live there and I drive there from Cleveland 1-2 times a year.

i had the K&N drop in. I can tell you I had NO added noise whatsoever, but i did have a couple hp gain.

more toward the top end, it just plain pulled harder. good mod...and no trade offs that i was aware of. :bigok:

Keep in mind that it's not very noticeable. It just seemed to growl a little more when you got on it before hitting VTEC.
