My dad was driving home from work today and we just picked up the '03 tl 2 weeks ago.. the check engine light came on. we already made an appointment to bring in the car tommorow morning because the locks were bugging out locking and unlocking on their own. and when you use the remote the seats dont move into memory position

Document, document, document

document the symptom, take it to the dealer and get his thot on it. make sure you record what was fixed. Read the lemon law in your state. ammunition for a later date. hopefully you wont have to use it

did the light stay on or blink? because if its blinks that is a big problem! the check engine light system is called OBDII which is on cars 96 and new...it could be something stupid like your gas cap is not closed all the way if it is not blinking. good luck

it was staying solid... no blinking. my dad brought it in this morning. I will keep you updated

Mine came on when I was 18K miles. It was engine misfire false code. Reset it and no problem so far!!

Did you know you can link and unlink the remote to the memory seats?

Press both the Lock and Unlock button on the remote at the same time to link/unlink.
