Hi Guys, I have an Acura CL 3.0 Premium 1998 with a bad PCM. The door on the car states that it is a Federal Emissions Car, Not a California Emissions car.
It should take a 37820P8AA02 ECM for Fed car, but it has a 37820P8AL02 in the car which from my research is a California model ECM. Granted, someone could have
changed it along the way, which would explain why there are some quirky problems with the car. Does anybody know what ECM should be in this car?
VIN 19UYA225XWL004683. Any help or pointed in the correct direction would be most appreciated. Thanks guys, Mark.

Unfortunately, it is hard to identify the correct number today because almost everything related to the car history could be changed. There could be no accurate data about the past of this car. Still, you can get in touch with the insurance agency where this car was insured. Maybe this is how you will find more information about this car. Or, you can get in touch with someone from Money Expert, here you can also look through your cars' database.

Good choice, but don't forget the mileage.if your car will make it to 200k miles however I would recommend you to sell it as you are getting a pretty good offer right now and might as well look for another one at the same price in better condition. As for your insurance company I've struggled with my old one also while being in the same situation as you and thankfully I listened to my friends advice and decided to change to https://joywallet.com/review-of-farmers/, they offer great and fast support and have the best terms and conditions that are out there.
