Hey there. Anything equal to or greater than 87 octane is fine, as per manufacturer. You will notice better engine response and fuel efficiency with 91 octane, since the engine has been tuned to that octane. Hope this helps ...
I have a 2012 Acura TL Tech, I fed it premium gas until about 35,000 miles.
I have been running 87 Octane since that point. I have 125,000 miles and have never had an issue. I did the 105K timing belt, etc. service and not a word from anyone. Car is just as peppy as the day I bought it and still drives like new. (I also drive 98% highway miles.)
