96 Tl 3.2 autostick. It easily shifts out of park all the way down. when i try to go back to park it gets stuck at neutral position. seems like a mechanical limitation as it makes the left to right movement to proceed. ive seen in a parts breakdown a shifter guide template. this seems to guide the shifter lever, but i cant tell what makes the lateral movement possible. thanks for any help or suggestions.
