Hey, check em out. They just came in!! Gonna install them tonight!!

Austin, Thanks for all your hard work!! This product looks great. Hope you guys like the pics. Ill take more when they are on my car!!

AP Signworks did a great job packaging these also. They came perfect, with no scratches or anything. These are truely very nicely made sills. They will make the car look so much more classy!!

I installed the sills on the car last night and will take some pics when i get off work today. They were a piece of cake to install, just peeled off the backing on the 3M tape and stuck them to the plastic. One slight modification that i had to make was cut off about 1/8th of an inch off both ends of all the sills with my tin snips and then round out the edges again. The sills were slightly too long for my liking, i like there to be a plastic "border" around the edge. Other than that, they were cake. :boink:

Is the lettering engraved or silk screened?? From the pics, it looks to me like it's silk screened, but I thought it said in the sticky post that it was going to be engraved??? Anyways, they look awesome....I'd really like to see pics of them installed in a saddle interior....I know they look great in a black interior, but not sure about saddle....any opinions or pictures would be great!

Looks great! But my only concern is when passengers get in and scratch up the sills with their shoes and stuff. I'm assuming these sills are not scratch proof? What do we need to do to make them scratch resistant? Adding a plastic film over it is one possibility but I think it makes it look tacky (sort of like keeping the plastic cover over the remote control to keep the buttons clean :barf: ). Anyone got suggestions or comments?

Hey Pat,

You might wanna try local paint supply store first. That's where I get all my 3M products from. ;)

oh and btw, if you go to the visual/audio forum and read through austin's post, he actually tried to use his key to scratch the material, and the thing is hard to scratch on. i think he had to use quite some force to put a fine scratch on it.
