You should get a better time from a stop in D3 with VSA off. Also, try doing the run on a level grade with less than a 1/4 tank of gas. Under these conditions, a stock CL-S should run 0-60 in less than 6.6.

Rolling Starts are usually more efficient with FWD due to weight transfer and traction inefficiencies being all but eliminated.

Rolling starts pertain more to manual trannies than automatics. With a manual tranny, a rolling start will usually prevent the dreaded clutch-pop, stalls and excessive burnouts.

All you do is start off in first gear, while gently releasing the clutch. Once you get up to say 15 or 20 mph, put the petal to the metal!

Hope this helps. :)
