Greetings folks,

A new member here from Florida's Gulf Coast. Proud owner of a 2003 Acura TL-S. Bought it new in 2003 and have enjoyed it since. Great car, still runs and looks good, 195,000 miles, had the tranny (and timing belt) replaced at 107,000 per the Acura recall, had the air bag recall taken care of a few months ago also per the Acura recall.

I plan on keeping the car a couple more years so will be searching through the forums and looking for advice as to what to expect next. Tranny, timing belt, ball joints, etc. We have an Acura dealer here in my communiyt so thought I would sit down with the service manager and pick his brain as to what maintenance I should be scheduling in the near future.

Again I love my old 2003 Acura TL-S and would like to keep it a year or two more. I have to admit though I like my wife's Lexus RX 350 (2012) a lot. Drove a CPOed 2014 ES 350 the other day and can see why they're so popular. Do you think the automobile gods would frown on me if I switched from Acura to Lexus? I bought my first Honda product (a Civic CVCC) in 1976 and have always had a Honda/Acura product in the garage since.

Have a great day.

Best

Florida is best for traveling and also have different tourist attraction point you belong to Florida it's a very amazing place and in your post, you talk about your favorite and loving old car yes I agree with you some time we fall in love with our old things me also madly like my old computer and I never lost it all however it becomes getting old and most of the functionality is not supported but still, I like it very much and one more thing in my next vacation.
