I just picked up a 97, 3.2TL, Black, Tan Leather, Pittsburgh, $14,500, 50K Miles. Everything stock. Had local Acura Dealer go over thoroughly.

Car is basically Black with Chrome accents.
Just got Gold Kit.
Will put on Gold License Plate Frame on Back.
Custom License Plate Front, Chrome with Gold Acura Emblem.

Ordered Factory Spoiler with LED's.

Should I have gone with a different Spoiler????

What size and make of rim and tire should I go with???

I was thinking 17's, split 6 spoke Chrome, with a touch of Gold in the center. You tell me???

How dark should my Tint be on the Windows???

I want the car to look classy and sporty not pimpish or hoopdy.

If you guys were to make the ultimate Black 97 3.2TL, what would YOU do?

I'm new to this and totally lost.

There arent too many spoilers available. I think theres only OEM, Value and Hiro. The Value and Hiro spoiler look almost the same. I have the Value on my car. See my sig. Rims are really personal preference. I might like a rim you hate or the other way around. I would go with 18x7.5's with an offset of 45 or higher. I'm not sure how strict cops are in Ohio with dark tint. I say go 35% the lightest or 20% the darkest. Its up to you also. You can get a few body kits for that sporty look. You can see them at www.value-caraudio.com but they're pretty expensive. I would also get Inspire tailights. They dont have that ugly amber blinker, its clear. See my sig also for those. man, personally I dont feel strongly enough about the good qualities of chrome rims to put up with caring for them, but thats just my lazy ass. 6-spokes are definitely hot though, check out some Axis rims (the 'Sev7ens'), I like most of theirs.

would definitely get clear bumper lights, they look tight, especially on black. I have a black 2.5, and for some weird hang-ups I waited 6 months before I decided to get the clear bumpers, and once I did I was damn glad I did it. check 96TL's sig, plus I'll pm you some pics if you like, just ask. you can get them at www.autodynamic.com for 40 plus shipping. One thing you will want to do with these is buy a tube of silicone sealant and go over all the seals on the lights, as the after market seals tend to let in moisture Im told. I just did this mod last week, couldnt be happier

How does the chrome/gold work together, you like it? I thought about some gold emblems or plate frame but I could see it clashing with the chrome, breaking up the smoothness.... post some pics, Im curious

Don't forget to drop her too while you are at it. I would recommend Eibach for some springs and Koni Yellows for your shocks(koni's will only fit with slight modificaition)

LCD's,LCD's,LCD's!! The more the better. 7" in each sun visor, one in each head rest and an in-dash 7" flip out unit with DVD capabilites. Of course a nice sound system to go along with it.

Tint: I would go 5% in the back and two rear sides if it is legal in your state, then as dark as possible on your pass and driver windows.

Debadge the rear end.

HID conversion Kit.

Take the nasty yellow things out of your fogs.

Get a high quality wax.(so the black will look pimp)
