Where are your tweeters mounted? Do you have pics? I have the polykevlar 165k2's not installed yet. I know them utopia's sound awsome!impgrin:

No pics of the utopias.... and we couldnt find a place to mount the tweeters... so they are in the doors next to the speakers angled up. Sounds Great!!!

if the 165k2 are the same size depth as the 165w then your installer will have to do some cutting in the doors. but im sure they will now how.

Here is how the kicks look - speakers. I'm using these in my upcoming audio upgrades. I'll be loading 3 ways up front, 2 ways in the doors and some more interesting tidbits. The kicks are from our brother the accord from Qforms.

I had q-forms in my civic and we could never get the midrange to sound decent. The 165 k2 was too big, so we had to go with the 136k's. It might have sounded better if it would have been sealed off more, maybe with some dynamat. I think custom made kick panels would probably give you very good sound quality and imageing. I'll probably just put mine in the doors.

The ones you had in your civic must have been pretty small because I can fit a 6.5" woofer in these babies. I agree about the sealing the kick off it works.
