I was wondering how you remove the speed limiter. The thing that limits how fast you can go and limits your top speed??

Hey dude,

Unfortunately the CL's speed limiter is programmed into the ECU so the procedure of "removing" it would not be a painless or easy one. I suppose that you could always take your CL to a reputable, local high-performance shop where they could reflash or reprogram your ECU but that may prove very expensive.

What makes you think there is any sort of governor or limiter in the car at all? The things will run to the red line in any gear they have the power to do it in, there does't seem to be anything stopping one from going faster than I can see other than lack of power.

it has the limiters for revs , in final gear none of the cars go more than 5k rpm

And this is a problem? I mean 5k in 6th gear that is just flat flying.
