So I bought a 2002 Acura TL the other day. It was about 20 degrees below zero (C) and the shifter wouldn't budge. (car was hydroplaned into a swamp so some water still inside) Anyways stupid me I pushed a bit to hard, I heard a snap and now the car is stuck in neutral. It will not go into any gear and sounds like it's rattling/grinding and the d5 light is blinking, I checked the linkage, it's fine. Any ideas here? Thanks for any help.
