ave a 2002 Acura Tl type S with 88k miles.
First time driving the car it felt kind of heavy and that the engine was exerting way more force than it should have to only go around the neighborhood. (about 10-20 mph). I decided to change the brakes and rotors for the front of the car and tested to see if it would have been an easy fix. After the quick few minute drive I smelled rubber. And my Rear right rotor was as hot as the surface of the sun. The others were hot (probably because I was testing them.) but not to that extent. The car felt heavier the second time around. Is it a different issue or should I continue to replace the rear rotor and brakes.

Unfortunately nothing in a post will give you the answer. There's just no substitute for a good reconnoiter. Time to pull the wheel and see if the caliper is hanging up.
