My mother recently bought a TL and got 2 keys, and of course within 6 months she has lost said key. (Spare she was given by the PO was just a regular cut copy with no chip, which did come in handy to wind up the windows at least)
We're in the middle of some pretty heavy stuff and she has to take the car to a place tomorrow to get a breathing device checked out, we're not able to call a tow truck and go through the dealership at this moment. I'm sure there is a way to disable this through the ECU and I'm not scared of cracking it open but I don't want to just try things and end up frying something.
I'm sure someone here would know how but doesn't want to mention it in a thread so if someone can PM me that would be cool. Maybe I can paypal you $10 or something in return. I'm used to 80s/early 90s cars so all this crap gets on my nerves.
