Just finished my stereo upgrade:

Alpine 9775 Head Unit powered by Eclipse 4 channel amp
4-6.5" JL door speakers
1-8" NOS Bazooka tube powered by Alpine 2 channel amp
6 disc Alpine S634 cd changer
Alpine XM radio control interface
Terk roof mounted Satellite antenna.
Retaining full factory steering wheel audio control using SWI-X unit.

Audio Control kicks ass. I didn't know they made something so you can keep using the steering wheel coltrols after changing head units. Sweet!
How does that Bazooka sound? They looked interesting... Post some pics, and of your car. WDP kicks much ass!

Audio Control does kick ass! He meant steering wheel audio controls, not Audio Control.

The SWI-X is made by a company called PAC. Do a search for SWI-X on Google.com and you will find out about it. It is about 60 bucks and ties into the wires of the steering wheel audio controls and then uses an infrared eye to control the aftermarket deck. The only thing to note is that your deck must have remote control capability as it learns the appropriate button on the remote to control the deck. This also means you have to mount the SWI-X infrared eye so that it can "see" your aftermarket deck. Definitely a nice piece of functionality.
