you lucky bastard:sqnteek:...i wish I could afford some headers, but I can slowly feel the real worlds pain now...you see my parents are slowly cuttin a player off:rolleyes:...after paying my car payment and gas and all other shit, I feel as though I dont have any left for the shit I really want...hell my car gets 75% of the money I make, oh well guess she really is my true love:D...Shyne:king:

no i don't think so, from the serveral installation stories i have heard.

damn....... i know it's a good bang for the buck, but still 1200 bucks plus installation is way too steep for me @[email protected]

Tell me about it! I want this soooooooo bad and now that my federal check came in I am soo tempted. But damn school bills...

man, same boat again....... i got my return and when i look at it only things popped up were rims and headers..... BAD me ;)

don't laugh , sounds like a stupid but how much hp do you get from the header, or what does it different between the new comptech header and OEM header?? :eek:

32hp at the wheels is what comptech claims. Comptech headers separate the gas' from the engine better so the engine breathes better thus making more power. THe power gains is more in the mid to high rpm... for instances passing cars on the highway is much better...

exactly. 30hp gain is a good rule of thumb on the comptech headers. so officially with headers, cai, and an exhuast, you can claim to have a 300hp car (at crank of course).

Here is a break down for the for the CL-S(same engine as TL-S). At 2800 rpm it loses 1 hp and at 6600 rpm it gains 32. $1250/32hp=$39.06 per hp that you can really only use between 5800 & 6800 rpms.

To much $'s for the gain, IMO. As far as the Cat Back stuff I've not seen a dyno that represents any significant gain for a TL-S. If anyone has a real dyno that represents some gain from a CAI please post. Please no speculation just facts with refrences please.
