Programming the new key's immobilizer requires access to the vehicle.
On models with the older style keys (the ones with the groove in the middle) we can usually read the immobilizer chip, but the newer laser-cut/sidewinder keys are different and require connecting your vehicle to the Honda diagnostic equipment to link the new key to the vehicle.
Essentially, you must visit your local dealer for a working key.
