Okay so long story short, I replaced my whole front end brake system, minus the calipers. I had to replace the caliper bracket because the piston was seized on one of them. Oy vey. Anyway, my mechanic put together my car (and lost my lug nut key in the process) but now every time I brake (and ONLY when I brake) there's this terrible metal on metal knocking noise like there's no brake pad left. Mind you I just replaced the brake pads a little over 3 weeks ago. It doesn't make the sound every time, so we've ruled out the axle. Has anyone else had this problem with brakes on their RSX's before? And also with the lug nut key, is there any way to replace that without going to the dealership to get one made? I bought a whole new lug nut/key set as a last resort, but just trying to cover all bases. Thanks!
