I used a set of Mcgard spline drive that is usually mounted on my aftermarket wheel, about a month ago I went back to stock wheels and due to laziness I still put the spline drive for the stocks. Yesterday, I found that one each of the lugs in my front wheels have gone, I think I also heard some clanking noise before when cruising but I didn't think that it was the lug came loose. I wonder if this is because I use the splinedrive ? Because I just looked up for infos and found that I should have used different lugs for different wheels ? Advise me pls, what else can go wrong from this ? Thanks

I doubt it will come off by itself, I honestly think somebody was messing with your lugs.

This thought came in mind for a sec, but :

1. I don't think someone hates me that much, that they want to loosen my lug nut , but who knows I'm thinking of putting extra alarms in the future.

I actually remembered that one of my lugnut seats was kinda bent inward (just the base, not the bolted area on top of that) , at first I thought it was normal,after seeing the post I was thinking that this might be the case. But that's why I bring it up in this forum :dunno:
