Code says p1399, now I went thru all the coils and took the wires off one by one, only one that did not change the rpm was no. 3 put in a new coil and still shows a misfire with a blinking CEL. Went and did the same wire check for all cylinders and the only bad one is no 3 again. what could this be
Thanks for any and all help

How does the spark plug look? Also did you try and swap wires with any other cylinder to rule out a bad wire? Only other thing I can think of off the top of my head is a overly tight valve lash

Dean,
I pulled the plug still looks brand new, maybe had a little oil but it was not saturated, I could barely see it on the paper towel when I wiped it off. I put the ignition wire from the no.3 bad to the no.2 good and there was no rpm change, is this telling me the wire for no.3 is bad? if how does one go about fixing or changing this out.
