Hi,
New here, looking forward to some help, please.
My wife's 2002 TL Type S is making a clunk sound when accelerating from a stop. Also some vibration.
I am pretty certain that it is either the trans mount or motor mounts. I don't have the time to tear it apart, determine which it is and then go out and buy the mounts so I was going to buy one of each and replace all three at once or if I get lucky and pull the bad one out first just the one.
In looking at them on RockAuto.com there are some with vacuum lines?
Which would I have? We purchased the car new in late 2000.

Simply have someone inside the car, with the hood up and the engine running, rock the car from R to D and back and forth while the brake is applied. The bad mount will allow the engine to lift up in that spot.
