MY ILX came with Michelin Pilot MXM4 215/45/17 tires. I was thinking of buying another brand such as Continental or Bridgestone. What are thoughts about this?

Back to the OP question, the brands you are inquiring about are all good brands. Best way to find-out is to check-out tire ratings (noise, handling, weather stability etc.). I belive Tirerack.com has that option.
