When you buy from a private party, you have to get the financing straight from the bank...but sales tax is included as part of the price. The tag can be taken care of at your local tag agency. If you have a tag to transfer, they can do that; you can also purchase a new tag (price based either on sales price or vehicle weight, depending on your county) there.

Also - moving this to the "All Cars" area...

Not bad, but I was hoping it was a Lightning. A couple guys at work have the R/T, one has 20's. Nice, but I'm not a Mopar fan.

Well yea i wanted him to get a Lightning but they were hard to find. Plus his budget was 15k so the lightning would have been more.

I think its a good deal. Hes getting it for $15k, only has 36,000 miles on it. And you know the owner wasnt some teenager who beat the shit out of it. I think its a good buy. Cant wait till winter time.. oh the horror!! :bigok:

Okay, I'll be the first to start. A friend of mine has an identical truck. A black '99 5.9 R/T. Hope your friend has fun at the gas pump! I know the truck wasn't built for fuel efficiency, but when I borrowed his truck to move a piece of furniture from Tucson to Phoenix it got 14mpg on the highway (with cruise control at 70mph). So much for it being rated 14 city, 18 highway. The sad part is it doesn't feel very fast at all. It felt MUCH MUCH slower than my CL-S, yet I raced one at the track a couple times and only beat it by .02 sec three different times. :dunno: All in all, it's a huge POS!
