In navigation hell on my 2006 TL. Had Alpine fix the DVD in the trunk and month later, screen goes blank (almost blank thin white line will flash on the middle of the screen) No XM either. Dealer says need new screen. Put it in and problem is still there. Acura really has no idea as to how to diagnose this problem. Perhaps whoever manufactures can trouble shoot.
Anyone know?

The whole navigation system is done by Alpine. They said to package up the screen and the DVD in the trunk for them to test and fix the entire system. VERY easy to deal with.
Acura and the dealer were totally worthless. They gave me the wrong diagnose, charged me, had me buy another screen then charged me again to put in new screen that didn't work. I think (don't quote me on this) ALPINE said the total charge would not be over $248.

I knew the DVD player in back was Alpine, but didn't know the screen was Alpine. It's being repaired right now.

Update: Alpine told me that the screen was made by them and send it in along with the DVD player in the back
so they could trouble shoot the whole thing. Screen came back right away saying it's a Panasonic unit. I called and asked
and was told they make some screens, but not all.
It was the DVD Nav drive in the trunk that had a bad board. It was repaired for free as they had just repaired the drive three weeks earlier.
Plugged it in, screen works, Navigation works, XM radio is back(why did it go out?), but voice commands are out. I say " find nearest motel"
and it says "Pardon?"
Acura Tech was totally wrong on their diagnose. Now I have a spare Navigation screen ($$$) that I'll try and sell on Ebay. It worked fine as well.
