I'm trying to locate the blend door actuator (mixes the heat/airconditioning to get the temp you desire) for an Acura 1998 CL, six cylinder. I don't believe the part is made anymore, but I can't even find a used part. Beyond frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. I've attached photos.

The part numbers are: DENSO AX063700-6650 12V 10S

So, I have replaced blend door actuators on a few cars. The problem is always a stripped gear in the actuator.

In checking I see your part actually is still available from Acura. It is spendy though, >$200.

Used parts are not a good option, the plastic in the gears gets brittle with age and a junkyard part is likely already or soon to break.

If you are very careful and handy, you may be able to repair your current actuator by adjusting the gear train. They all seem to fail with one tooth torn off.

Watch this video and see if you are up to the challenge, else, buy the Acura part.

Good luck
