So I have a 2002 Acura TL 3.2, and I need some exhaust parts to make it sound deep and semi-loud. I am 17 year old kid at high school, with semi strict parents... So my car cant be like Too loud

I am thinking of Tsudo Acura TL SP Axleback Exhaust
And i read some reviews, just putting that on doesnt make it much louder/deeper, is that true?

Also, I might want to replace the resonator Aero-Turbine-Performance-RESONATOR-AR25

AND if the tsudo + resonator isnt loud enough (but no too loud) I want to replace the mid muffler with like a Flowmaster series 40 or something.

~So out of the 3 things (tsudo kit - resonator - mid muffler) Which ones should I replace to obtain the deep semi loud noise, but not over the limit? NOTE: I rather not delete a muffler/reonsator, I feel better replacing it with an aftermarket one.

--THANKS-- :wavey:

Why is that. I'm in the same boat selecting an exhaust. I see no diff between the 500$ system on eBay or the 1200$ system on eBay. What's the differnce? Both stainless both well made..

There's a few reasons why I typically don't like the cheaper made-in-china stuff (don't get me wrong, China can make high quality products, it's just consumers don't want to spend the money on top shelf items when it says Made In China). These exhausts are probably no different from most bottom dollar ebay units. Yes, the steel is stainless, however I'm willing to bet it's a low grade stainless steel that will corrode easily. Also I've noticed many times that there are fitment problems (depending on the product and application the problem can be minor, but I've also ran into my share of extremely bad fitting exhausts). The other thing is that typically these applications are just copies of systems manufactured and R&D'd by other manufactures. Since the Chinese factories don't have to spend their own time and money doing the R&D, the price point goes down, however you end up putting the original innovating companies out of business (this is why there's no more HKS office in the US; several friends of mine got laid off from HKS USA because of Chinese knock-offs, and this is also why A'pexi here in the US is very close to being on the brink of being bankrupt; this is also why Comptech went bankrupt). There's some functional issues that I have with a lot of these Chinese made mufflers as well, but I won't totally get into it at the moment.

Honestly, I hope to heed my words of warning as an industry professional doing this stuff since 1995. I hope people that buy the knock-off brands wake up before there's no more sport compact tuning industry to speak of.
