Need help...

Shyne, I have a 3" drop on my TL. What I do is that I parked my TL on a LEVEL street. Then I just adjust it right there to make sure that it lights up the whole street in front of me but not too high as to blind people. Sorry if you were looking for like height #s.

that sounds like a good idea. i might just as well do that. i was thinking about which wall i could use to do the markings and couldn't come up with a good one

Shyne... Do a search on this site for headlight adjustment. There is a thread on that and in that thread there is a link to another site that has some specific details of how the lights are supposed to be adjusted (including some specific measurements.)

you know what is smart? but too late for people like us that lowered it. Shawn S from the CL boards, marked his wall or something before he dropped it....went to drop it...came back...and adjusted it to where he marked it. shouldv'e thought of that. oh well. I'm going to adjust mines tomorrow.

Well if it was on a level surface, maybe he could measure the height and distance for us. Who wants to ask?

acutally i see some problems with that. see, when stock say your low beam is pointing downward a bit. you mark it. then you lower your car for say 3 inches (a bit exergerate). now if you try to aim the same mark again, you might end up pointing the low beam at a horizontal position or even a bit upward. wouldn't that be a really bad idea?

Dude wow you disappeared! This is where you are What's up man. Hey...I actually wanted to tell you this...because it sounds right up your alley...you looked at my aluminum trim/sills groupbuy yet? Sounds like something you'd like to do. I posted it here in the visual/audio forum. By the way...that car I don't have...it's catching up to yours in mods!
