new to the board here - my first post!

so i need to replace a headlight. bought new bulbs, have instructions, ready to install,

i am third owner of this vehicle. am i screwed with trying to get radio code from the dealer when i hook the battery back up? my local dealer in morton grove, illinois said it would be $99 to get the code. i ain't paying that!

any help is appreciated. if this is already in a threadd somewhere - please point me in the right direction. thanks!

If you still have the information of the first owner, you can go to owner.acura.com and fill the form. You'll get the code there. Also make sure you confirm the serial number of the navigation module in the trunk (in case its been changed).

The correct web site is owners.acura.com
You will register your Acura with the VIN. Then look at "My Profile" to retrieve the radio code.
Option 2: Try calling the Acura dealer parts counter (not service) and ask them if they will look it up for you. Just need to give them the VIN.
