you'll have to get that scanned by an OBD2 reader, do you feel any difference in engine performance? (stuttering, bad MPG, stumbing, rough idle etc) usually, when a "check engine" light comes on, it relates to any parts that has to do with the cars emissions, ( CAT, O2 sensors, EGR, PCV, etc) try reseting your battery to clear it out, then see when it returns.
