So about 7 or 8 months ago I find tranny fluid in the coolant on my MDX come to find out the tranny cooler is shot so I buy one rip the car apart and replace the radiator I flushed hundreds of $'s worth of fluid through it day after day to get rid of the milky mixture of coolant and tranny fluid and after about 3 months I go to change the tranny fluid again just to be safe and it was really burnt and black and there was a lot of metal shavings on the magnet. It drove fine for the next month or 2 and it was fine until 1 day I noticed it felt as though it was slipping and later that night I almost couldn't make it home it was slipping so bad and noticed a whining coming from the tranny so I buy a remanufactured one from a company called moveras 2 months later it comes in.(another story all together but never use them) I had a friend who is a mechanic for Honda put it in for me it was great all day drove better than it ever has before got about 50 miles on it and decided to take a spin out to the store and it will not up shift unless I let off the gas and then it'll kick in and starts slipping. Feels similar to the problem I was having before but I couldn't even drive a quarter mile before. Any ideas?
