new tranny? FUCK THAT

is it possible to get a new replacement car if one's tranny goes out under warranty? use every complaint in the book about replacement trannies failing twice or even three times. value of the car shooting to hell. possible?

well if it goes out the first time probably you can only ask for a replacement on the tranny not the car. i mean it's just a defective part.

but if it goes out like two or three times, you (at least i would) raise the hell out of them and make them either buy back my car or give me a new one. i believe after 3 times it's definitely a lemon

BTW - I've heard of several out-of-warranty TLs where Acura has replaced it anyway and only charged the labor.

My biggest problem is if the tranny goes out. I get no loaner car cause I'm not 21. But I'm sure my acura dealers would provide me with one. truthfully, the transmission is a PROBLEM, this isn't just like on some cars. it is TRUELY a defective part! But still, you pay a 30K car and you get a awesome tranny! :bigok: :lol:
