I think only the 3rd/4th Gen sh-awd MDXs are the only vehicles that still come with a spare tire w/ tools. No spare for 3rd/4th fwd MDX or 3rd Gen hybrid MDX. Everything else gets air compressor and fix-a-flat can. I was able to add a full size spare+tools to my MDX hybrid and donut spare+tools to my RLX hybrid.
The bad thing about the new Acura vehicles are they are even taking away the space to add a spare later (except for the MDX).
