Saturday afternoon:

Had oil changed oil at leading oil place – I bring my own Mobil 1 Synthetic in.

Sunday morning:

Starting car and had ignition Error P16BD, P16BE, and P16BF. System said if car was starting to take to dealer at earliest. Planned on taking in for service when I returned home.

Headed back home Sunday evening. About 100 miles out, the car started cutting out, check engine light came on and I started to receive the following error codes:

Transmission Error – P0705, P0847
Engine System - P2649
Vehicle Stabilization Assist - assist83

Got off highway and shut car down & towed to dealer.

Acura dealer reported that the air conditioner drain plug had a bolt threaded into it. Condensate backed up into the system and fried the ECU causing all of the errors. Someone at the oil change place obviously didn't want to get wet in the pit form AC condensate and plugged it.

Estimate to repair will be $1,500++ Wont know if further damage occurred until new ECU is installed.

Oil change place will be paying for repairs, rental, and my time.

LEGIT, man that is messed up, they always do things like this man. It is so stupid and sad, honestly despicable, I do now know how they maintain employee's like that when vehicles cost so much money to be fixed or repaired.

JiffyLube = Unscrewed the carburetor lid, and never even put the bolts back. While performing an oil change LMAO........

Sears Auto Center = broke my cross-member while highering or lowering my vehicle. Claims it was my axle and all my fault till Honda cleared up the whole misunderstanding. I could have fixed the car for 75 bucks, took it to honda and made them pay for it. =)

ECU = PCM - that's what they trashed

on a higher note - had a chat with this particular company today and they are going to pay full repair costs, towing, my rental car, AND $500 for my time.

Still doesn't make it right but at least they are trying.
