Just replaced the thermostat on my sons 92 Legend. He drove it and said the temp went WAY up. I drove it and it indeed pegged the temp gauge. Open the hood and found the following: Coolant bubbling into overflow. Top hose very hot. Hose from t stat to lower radiator cool. Engine did not seem very hot either. My guess is bad t stat, not letting water through. I am a Mopar guy and not very familiar with these cars but this seems like basic 101. Am I missing something on these Acuras? I think I will pull the t stat and check it in some boiling water to see if it is opening. Any help is appreciated.
