I bought a pair of m-28's for my dome light. It is the same size as the stock bulb, but in a hyperwhite. I bought it at 99 Ranch Market in Irvine, CA.

You are right... It's brighter.

The m-16 may not be as bright (or as long) as the stock bulb, but I assure you the m-28 is much brighter. The stock bulb is 7 watts and the replacement is 10 watts.

I found out why. The building the new 99 on Walnut is housed in has been bought by the 99 Corporation. The one on Culver is leased. When the lease expires, that one will be closed.
